Firefox NTLM authentication

Modified: 2008/06/09 11:24 by janwillem - Categorized as: Firefox
By default automatic NTLM authentication doesn't work in Firefox and you'll get a popup if you would try to access a site that uses NTLM to authenticate its users.

Follow these simple steps to enable NTLM authentication in Firefox for a specific site:

- Start Firefox and type "about:config" in the address bar
- Find the key "network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris" in the list of settings
- Add the host name of the site that's using NTLM authentication. If you want to add multiple host names, use commas to separate them.

That should do the job!
