IncludeSubSites property

Modified: 2008/05/09 08:27 by BHammendorp - Categorized as: SharePoint
A Sharepoint site has the property "IncludeSubSites". If this is set to the value true, the content navigation (on the left) shows the undelying sites of the current site.

If you want this property to be set by default, you must edit the onet.xml of the site definition. Add the following code between the nodes:

<Feature ID="541F5F57-C847-4e16-B59A-B31E90E6F9EA"> <Properties xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/"> <Property Key="InheritGlobalNavigation" Value="true"/> <Property Key="IncludeSubSites" Value="true"/> <Property Key="IncludePages" Value="false"/> </Properties> </Feature>
